Cpt Nemo was sired by Ppperuvian Auzengate, the # 1 choice of the 1995 five star Peruvian sale of over 500 alpacas. He was sold to Fine Choice Alpaca Sires in Australia in 1996 shortly after importation leaving limited offspring in the US. Auzengates offspring have earned top placements in Australia shows.

Dam: Ppperuvian Azul Celeste has produced several champion animals. An exceptional female earning 2002 AOBA Winter Conference "Produce of Dam award".

Cpt. Nemo most notable feature is his soft fibre and excellent handle which remained very constant. His last fibre stats at 10 years of age: CV:22.9, SD:4.4, CV:19.2, %>6.2. Typically Nemos' offspring are visually pleasing with medium size square stocky build, excellent overall coverage head to toe, high frequency crimp, very soft handle & lower micron fibre with friendly, pleasing personalities.
